Many strategies and plans are made to shift existing airport at Alcochete, which later completely dispel from Portugal’s transportation plan due to the cost-cutting policies for the country. In 2013, it was decided to improve the existing Lisbon Airport infrastructure and aviation services with big investment.

Now, Lisbon airport has two terminals to handle the capacity of passengers under the expansion plan of ANA. This expansion plan includes a shopping mall, restaurants, new air bridges, new parking areas and an underground Metro. You should book for Lisbon airport taxi for roaming the city.
